Mira Vestel Earns CSC Academic All-District Honor

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Mira Vestel of Air Force fencing was named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
Vestel, a sophomore, led the Air Force saber group with 48 bout victories. She was a fifth-place finisher in women's saber at the NCAA West Regional. Vestel also earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic.
To be considered for CSC All-Academic, the student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. The athletes must also meet a competition/games played threshold for eligibility, specific to each sport.
