Brayden Richards Set for World Athletics U20 Championships

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force freshman decathlete Brayden Richards will represent Team USA this weekend (Aug. 29-30) at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru.
Richards, a native of Perry, Ohio, was selected to the Team USA U20 squad following a 7482-point, running-up performance at the USATF U20 Championships this past June in Eugene. A three-time champion in the 10-event competition (AAU Championships – 2021, 2022; adidas National Championships – 2023), is one of 32 individuals from 20 countries scheduled for the decathlon.
Lima24 will be contested at the Estadio Athletico de la Videna on Aug 27-31, with live stats and video available at worldathletics.org.
