Liveringhouse leads Falcons on first day at Folds of Honor

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Junior Eric Liveringhouse led the Air Force golf team in the first round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate, Monday, Sept. 9, at the American Dunes Golf Course. In the season-opening round, Liveringhouse shot a 76 (+5), posting a pair of birdies on the back nine.
Senior Cameron Kahle shot a 77, followed by junior Ted Davenport (78), sophomore Eli Huntington (79) and sophomore Carson Baker (81).
Baker birdied three of his final 11 holes. Davenport opened with a birdie on No. 1 and birdied two of his first six holes. Kahle (11 pars) and Huntington (10 pars) played consistent rounds to open the season.
Air Force sits in 14th place with a 310, eight strokes ahead of Army. Alabama, ranked 16th in the nation, leads the field with a 275, followed by ninth-ranked Illinois (286). The field includes three teams in the top 10 and six in the top 25.
The second round of the three-day tournament begins at 7:30 am ET at the American Dunes Course.
