Air Force will split for a pair of cross country meets this Friday (Sept. 27), as the 30th-ranked men take on the nation's elite at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational in Madison and the women travel to Columbia, Mo., for the program's first-ever appearance against a strong field at the Gans Creek Invitational.
MEET INFORMATION – NUTTYCOMBE INVITATIONAL
The Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, presented by Under Armour, will be held on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course – which is adjacent to University Ridge Golf Cours. The men's Championships Race begins at 1:00 p.m. (CT), although the full event begins with the "B" races two hours prior. The meet will be streamed live on RunnerSpace, while live results will be provided by PrimeTime Timing .
SPECTATOR INFORMATION
There is no spectator parking at Zimmer, University Ridge or along the roads surrounding the course – all fans should park at Reddan Soccer Park (6874 Cross Country Rd) in Verona. Shuttles will be available for transportation to the course, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and continuing until one hour after the final race.

The 26-team men's field includes 18 of the top 30 teams in the nation, as well as two that are receiving votes in the latest poll. Alphabetically, the lineup includes No. 30 Air Force, No. 2 BYU, No. 21 Colorado, No. 14 Eastern Kentucky, Florida State, Furman, Georgetown (RV), Gonzaga (RV), Illinois, No. 23 Iona, No. 5 Iowa State, No. 26 Michigan, No. 25 Montana State, No. 6 North Carolina, No. 16 Portland, No. 18 Princeton, Providence, No. 19 Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, No. 29 Tulsa, No. 17 Villanova, No. 15 Virginia, No. 20 Wake Forest, No. 27 Washington and meet host, No. 13 Wisconsin.

Air Force has competed at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational nine times since 2010, with the men capturing their best finish (fourth) in 2022 – a placement that marked the fourth time in as many meets that the Falcons had captured a top 10 finish.

Air Force returns to action next Saturday (Oct. 5), when a small contingent of runners will head back to Monument Valley Park for the Ted Castaneda Classic, hosted by Colorado College. It is the first of back-to-back meets for the Falcons at MVP, as the team will also race there on Saturday, Oct. 11.
