Air Force Falls to No. 12 South Dakota State, 38-3

USAF ACADEMY – The 12^th-ranked South Dakota State Jackrabbits bested Air Force in Big 12 dual action, 38-3, Saturday evening in the historic Clune Arena. SDSU, winning nine of the 10 bouts, improved to 10-3 (1-1 Big 12) while the Falcons dropped to 2-5 with an 0-4 mark in the conference.

Air Force freshman Brian Burburija put the Falcons on the board in the 197 bout, beating Thomas Dineen, 9-8, scoring the first and last takedowns of the match with three escape points. Burburija improved to 15 wins on the season with a 3-3 record in dual action.

Falcon 149-pounder Alec Viduya was the first to tally points, scoring a takedown against Colin Dupill. SDSU won seven bouts with bonus points, highlighted by four technical falls.

Air Force will look to make good on the loss in tomorrow's dual (Jan. 19) against North Dakota State. Action in Clune Arena is slated for 12 p.m. MST.
