
Three Falcons Earn WAC All-Academic Honors

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced on Friday the 2024 Academic All-WAC honorees for fall sports, with a total of 397 student-athletes across six sports recognized. Air Force senior Andrew Durkin and sophomores Sean Flynn and Aidan Grubbs represent the Falcons on the list.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
Utah Tech led the way with 61 honorees. Southern Utah boasted 57 selections to rank second in the conference and Utah Valley was third with 51 student-athletes recognized.
Of the six fall sports included, women's soccer had the most student-athletes honored with 102. Men's soccer ranked second with 71 total student-athletes recognized and volleyball was third with 69 student-athletes included on the Academic All-WAC team for the fall.
