
Men's Swim and Dive Ahead of Two Teams on Day One

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - The Falcons closed the first day at Cadet Natatorium ahead of Denver (115-71) and Wyoming (126-60), but behind No. 14 LSU (105-81).
Air Force dominated the 200 breast, as freshman Brandon Cho won with a time of 2:01.06, while teammate Tanner Wilson followed close behind in second (2:03.82). Bridon Rosales (2:05.01) and Anthony Sebastian (2:05.20) rounded out the top finishers in fourth and fifth, respectively.
The 200 medley relay team composed of James Winterfield, Rosales, Tanner Wilson, and Jordan Falls placed second at 1:30.67.
For a silver finish in the 400 IM, Camden Swigart notched a time of 4:05.32, while freshman Matthew Doty took fourth (4:08.54).
After finishing at 49.15, James Winterfield earned a second place finish, with Tanner Wilson (50.57) and Danny Detjen (50.81) in fourth and fifth.
In the 100 free, Jordan Falls logged a fourth-place finish at 46.01.
Dylan Ferguson represented the Falcons in the top five of the 200 back, clocking 1:58.90 for fourth.
On the diving side, Lucas Gerten earned second after scoring a 338.75 on the 1-meter springboard.
Action will resume on Saturday October 18 at 11 a.m. MT in the Cadet Natatorium.
