
Air Force Men's Swimming and Diving Defeats Denver and Wyoming

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - The Falcons earned their first pair of dual wins over Denver (220-152) and Wyoming (211-161) but fell short to No.14 LSU (215-157) on Saturday at Cadet Natatorium.
For the top spot in the 100 breast, senior Bridon Rosales touched the wall at 54.52. Fellow Falcons, Tanner Wilson (55.40) and Mack Nuval (56.62) placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
Team captain James Winterfield finished in second in the 200 IM at 1:52.16. Teammate Camden Swigart followed up in third place (1:53.37).
Winterfield also recorded a silver finish in the 200 back, clocking a time of 51.11.
The 400 medley relay team, comprised of Winterfield, Rosales, Tanner Wilson, and Keoni Li took bronze with a time of 3:20.08.
Freshman Jordan Falls logged a time of 20.63 to represent the Falcons in fourth of the 50 free.
Joe Christ managed a time of 1:42.22 to take fourth in the 200 free.
In the 200 fly, Danny Detjen earned fifth place after clocking a time of 1:55.07.
On the 1-meter springboard, Brady Nichol scored 288.80 for fourth place, while Lucas Gerten placed behind in fifth (281.15). Gerten also managed to place highest on the platform for Air Force, scoring 272.20 for fourth place.
The Falcons will return to Cadet Natatorium on Friday October 31, hosting Grand Canyon.
