U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Junior Eli Huntington led the Air Force golf team at the Xavier Invitational, Oct. 20-21, at the Maketewah Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Huntington tied for 39th overall with a 226 (+16) after shooting 74-76-76. Senior Eric Liveringhouse was second on the team with a 227, followed by senior Brooks Morrell (228), sophomore Jackson Scaletta (230) and junior Carson Baker (233). Scaletta shot a 72 (+2) in the second round, a career-best road and team-scoring round.
Xavier won the tournament with an 854. Air Force was ninth with a 902, shooting 299-303-300.
Air Force returns to action, Nov. 4-6, at the Kapolei Invitational in Kapolei, Hawaii.
