Falcons Post 3-2 Record at Michigan Main Event

FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Air Force boxing team went 3-2 in its first-ever appearance at the MCPA Main Event on Saturday, Oct. 25. The women posted a perfect 2-0 record at the event, which was hosted by the University of Michigan and held at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findley, Ohio.

Sophomore Naomi Nunez and senior KJ Jackson, two of three Falcons that doubled-back from the Chuck Davey Classic in Detroit on Friday night, earned victories, while senior Elise Bell – the reigning 132-pound NCBA champion – completed the Falcons' list of winners. Nunez picked up a 125-pound decision over Wineverr Adagon of USC, while Jackson defeated Indiana's Madi Bakytkerey at 145 pounds and Bell claimed the 140-pound victory over Michigan's Sabrina Can Yan Won.
