
Falcons place fourth in home meet

U.S AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team shot a 4683 to place fourth in a home meet Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Cadet Rifle Range.
Senior captain Victoria Leppert was the top Falcon in air rifle, shooting a 581, followed by freshmen Prisha Thomas and Lily Miller at 579. In air rifle, junior Megan Torrence led the Falcons with a career-high 597, placing seventh overall. Leppert shot a 595 in air rifle and Thomas shot a 591.
TCU won the meet with a 4753. Georgia Southern and Alaska tied for second at 4710 and Air Force was fourth. Schriner University was fifth at 4373.
Air Force concludes the weekend by competing against the same four schools on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 8 am at the Olympic Training Center.
