Falcons Claim Three Wins at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Sophomore Nick Lightell, junior Noah Gilley, and sophomore Sela Panuve collected victories on Friday (Oct. 3) night, as nine members of the Air Force boxing team faced off with its counterparts from Navy at Dahlgren Hall.

Air Force opened the night with three-straight victories, including a pair of wins in the 156-pound weight divisions. Lightell opened the event with a decision over Patrick Panayides in the men's bout at that weight class, while Panuve – the reigning NCBA national champion – kicked off her second season with a victory over Cami Johnson on the women's side. In between the two 156-pound matchups, Gilley collected a 165-pound victory over Luca Fimiani.
