Falcons Close Out Regular Season at Utah State, Boise State

The Air Force volleyball team wraps up the regular season this week, as it heads to Utah and Idaho for its final two conference matches of the 2025 campaign – and the only meetings of the year with Utah State and Boise State. The Falcons will face the Aggies in Logan on Thursday, Nov. 20, before heading to Boise to face the Broncos on Saturday, Nov. 22.
MATCH INFORMATION
Thursday's match with Utah State is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m. (MT), inside the Wayne Estes Center on the Aggies' campus in Logan, while Saturday's contest at Boise State will begin at noon at Bronco Gym in Boise. SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Utah State, who secured the Mountain West's regular-season title two weeks ago, is undefeated in conference play at 16-0 and holds a 19-7 record overall. The Aggies lead the league in hitting (.301), kills (15.37), assists (14.37) and aces (2.00), while ranking second in opponent hitting (.195). Individually, Utah State athletes hold league-leading marks in hitting (.451, Tierney Barlow), assists (11.85, Kaylie Kofe), and service aces (0.40, Kendel Thompson), while Loryn Helgesen is one of only two players to average at least four kills per set.

SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
Boise State, which will host Nevada prior to Saturday's meeting with the Falcons, enters the week with a 17-10 record and a 9-7 mark in conference play. The Broncos are ranked third in the conference in both kills (13.71) and assists (12.89(, while holding a top five MW mark in hitting (.222, fourth). Individually, Layla Smith is ranked third in the conference in blocking with a 1.33 per-set average.
HISTORY 101
Air Force is 7-14 lifetime against Utah State, with two of those wins (2015, 2021) coming in Logan. The Falcons have a 7-20 history against Boise State and collected its first – and only – win in Bronco Gym in 2023.
AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Ashley Bible is ranked third in the Mountain West for kills in a conference contest, with a 3.90 per-set average, while Alex Hatchett is ranked fourth in hitting with a .351 efficiency rating. Grace Fiaseu and Jordan Suan are ranked fifth in the league in aces (0.32) and digs (3.78), respectively. As a team, the Falcons are ranked second in aces (1.55) and third in digs (15.13).
