COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Two members of the Air Force volleyball team were recognized by the Mountain West this morning (Nov. 25), as the league officer announced its all-conference and all-conference honorable mention selections for the 2025 season. Senior Ashley Bible was named to the 18-member all-conference team, while sophomore Alysa Walker was one of seven conference athletes to earn honorable mention status.
It is the first all-conference nod for both Falcons.
Bible had a stellar senior campaign, ranking among the conference leaders in kills (3.97 per set) and points (4.47 per set) during conference contests. Overall, she accounted for 258 kills, 134 digs, 20 blocks and 18 service aces during the conference season. She amassed double-digit kills 16 times during the conference season, including three-straight matches with 22 kills (Fresno State, Grand Canyon, New Mexico). Her performance in the Falcons' win over the Bulldogs came on .463 hitting, which was the second-highest efficiency of any athlete in the conference when recording at least 20 kills.
After seeing limited action as a freshman, Walker stormed into the Mountain West this fall – ranking among the league's top 10 in both kills (3.34, eighth) and points (3.87, ninth). As a six-rotation player and one of only three Falcons to play in all 67 conference sets, Walker accounted for 224 kills, 190 digs, 25 blocks (five solo, 24 assisted), 18 aces and 10 assists during the 18-match MW season. She accounted for double-digit kills in nearly every contest – a stretch highlighted by a career-high 26 kills on .357 hitting that led Air Force to its thrilling, reverse sweep victory over Grand Canyon.
Bible is the eighth Falcon to earn all-conference status from the Mountain West, while Walker marked the eighth time an Air Force player has earned honorable mention status. Overall, the two selections are tied for the program's second-highest number of honorees in the same season – and just one shy of the program record (three) that was achieved in 1991 and 2023.
