SCOUTING THE REBELS
UNLV is 8-13 on the season and 4-6 in conference play, after dropping a pair of 0-3 at Hawaii last weekend. Jada Harris is currently ranked third in Mountain West in both kills (3.47) and points (4.18), while Kamryn Scroggins (assists, 6.47) and Jada Ingram (blocks, 1.11) hold top-five rankings in their respective events. As a team, the Rebels are ranked third in blocks during conference play, with a 2.33 blocks per set average. A full stat comparison of Air Force and UNLV is located on Page 5 of this release.
HISTORY 101
The Rebels hold a 49-7 advantage in the all-time series with Air Force, including a 27-1 lead in Las Vegas. The Falcons' only victory at The Pavilion came during a reverse sweep victory (22-25, 19-25, 26-24, 25-20, 17-15) in 2017.
AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Alysa Walker is ranked first in the conference in kills (4.07) and points (4.32) for the season, while holding a No. 2 ranking in kills (3.85) during the conference season. Ella Vogel holds a league-leading average in digs (4.12) for the conference season, while the team leads the Mountain West in overall digs with a 15.74 per-set average. Vogel is also ranked third in MW digs (3.92), while Grace Fiaseu holds that placement in hitting during both the overall (.365) and conference (.347) season.
SO NICE, SHE'LL DO IT TWICE
After recording a career-high 26 digs and helping the Falcons to a thrilling 3-2 road win over UTEP on Oct. 24, Ella Vogel captured her second Old Trapper Mountain West Freshman of the Week award on Oct. 26. Vogel who previously claimed conference awards (Defensive Player of the Week, Freshman of the Week) on Sept. 14, is the first Falcon to repeat as the MW Freshman of the Week since the award was established in 2021.
PICKING UP A ROAD WIN
Air Force captured its first true road win of the 2026 season on Oct. 24, when it came-from behind to capture a 3-2 win over preseason favorite UTEP in El Paso. The Falcons have won two matches away from the Academy this year, with neutral, non-conference wins over Quinnipiac (at Boston College) and Utah Valley (at South Dakota).
WHAT'S ON DECK
After two weeks on the road, the Falcons return to the Academy next week to host New Mexico on Thursday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 7, in contests streamed live on the MW+.
