USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Juniors Tom Leggett and Jack Richards of Air Force men's water polo earned 2025 All-America honors by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC). Leggett earned second team honors, while Richards earned honorable mention.
The ACWPC All-America award is a prestigious honor that recognizes athletes nationally and throughout all collegiate divisions. This award is presented to water polo athletes who exhibit immense talent in the pool, provide leadership, and have helped build and advance the sport. Recipients are selected by ACWPC member coaches.
Leggett, a utility from Santa Barbara, Calif., had another historic season for the Falcons, breaking the school single season and career goals and points records. Leggett led the nation with 148 goals scored and 196 points, which both broke school records set by himself in 2024. Leggett also now holds the school all-time goals scored record with 405 and points with 522.
This is Leggett's third ACWPC All-America honor, as he earned honorable mention as a freshman and third-team honors as a sophomore. His second-team honor ties with Grant Snyder (2020) as the highest All-America finish in program history.
Richards, an attacker from Walnut Creek, Calif., had a standout junior season of his own, ranking in the Top-10 nationally in goals, assists and points. Richards was third in the nation in assists with 59, fifth in scoring with 143 points and 10th in goals with 84. Richards also cracked the Air Force single season top 10, ranking fourth in assists, sixth in points and seventh in goals.
It was just the fourth time in program history that Air Force had two All-American's in the same season and the first since 2012.
