Air Force Falls To Pacific, 80-65

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's basketball (3-7) fell to Pacific (7-2), 80-65, in a non-conference game Wednesday night at Clune Arena. Freshman forward Lucas Hobin led the Falcons with 19 points.
Pacific dominated inside, scoring 48 points in the paint. The Tigers out-rebounded Air Force 35-22. Forward Elias Ralph scored a career-high 31 points and guard Kajus Kublickas scored 13, to go with seven assists to lead UOP.
Air Force shot 47 percent from the field and go to the free throw line 32 times. Hobin was 4-for-10 from the field, knocking down three three's and getting to the free throw line 12 times.
Junior forward Caleb Walker scored 15 points, going 6-for-6 from the field. Eli Robinson added 11 points, to go with a team-high two steals. Kam Sanders scored 10 points and Kolby Gilles grabbed a career-high five rebounds.
Air Force fell behind in the first half, as Pacific utilized a 13-0 run in the first half to take a 41-26 halftime lead. The Falcons played much better in the second half, evening the scoring at 39-39. But the first-half deficit was too big a hurdle.
Air Force returns to action Sunday, Dec. 7, at Navy. Tip-off is Noon ET and the game will be on ESPN+.
