
Men's Diving Places Three at Air Force Diving Invitational

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - Following senior recognition day, the men's diving team concluded competition at the Air Force Diving Invitational, held in the Cadet Natatorium from January 30th-February 1st.
The Falcons totaled three divers in the top 12, across the 1-meter springboard, 3-meter springboard, and platform. Brady Nichol was the sole Air Force diver to finish in a top 12 placement in more than one event.
On the first day of the invitational, Nichol scored 284.90 for ninth place in the 3-meter preliminary round. After earning his spot as the only Falcon in finals, he finished in seventh, with a score of 303.50, the highest placement of the weekend for Air Force.
The second day of competition saw Nichol place fourth in the preliminary round on the 1-meter, scoring 288.75. Once again, the freshman was the only Air Force diver to move on to the final round, and with a score of 260.95, he took tenth place.
Air Force closed the weekend competing on the platform. Korbin Moyer scored 261.85 in the preliminaries, for 12th place. He was the sole Falcon to watch in the finals and secured his twelfth-place finish with a score of 228.30.
