Former Standout Sam Gilman Takes Bronze at USATF Indoor Championships

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Former Air Force Academy and Mountain West standout Sam Gilman (Class of 2023) captured a bronze medal in the 3000-meter run at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships this afternoon (Feb. 22) at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.

Gilman completed the 3000-meter championship race in a time of 7:38.64 and secured his podium finish with a strong move over the final 400 meters.
