The Air Force track and field team, including the 26th-ranked men's squad, is back in Colorado this weekend, as it travels to Fort Collins for the annual Doug Max Invitational on Saturday, May 2.

The Doug Max Invitational will be held at Colorado State's Jack Christiansen Track in Fort Collins on Saturday, May 2. Admission is free and live results will be provided through Rapid Results.

9:20 am: 3000-Meter Steeplechase, followed by 5000-Meter Run; 10:00 am: Men's Hammer Throw, followed by the Women's Hammer Throw, Men's Discus Throw, Women's Discus Throw; 10:00 a.m.: Women's Shot Put, followed by Men's Shot Put; 10:00 am: Men's Javelin Throw, followed by Women's Javelin Throw; 11:00 am: Men's High Jump, followed by Women's High Jump; 11:00 am: Women's Pole Vault, followed by Men's Pole Vault; 11:00 am: 1500-Meter Run, 4x100-Meter Relay; 11:55 am: Break; 12:50 pm: 400-Meter Dash, followed by 110-/100-Meter Hurdles, 100-Meter Dash, 800-Meter Run, 400-Meter Hurdles, 200-Meter Dash, 4x400-Meter Relay; 1:00 pm: Women's Long Jump, followed by Women's Triple Jump; 1:00 pm: Men's Long Jump, followed by Men's Triple Jump; (men are scheduled to compete first in all running events)
MEN REMAIN AMONG THE NATION'S TOP 30
The men remain among the nation's top 30, as they settled at No. 26 in April 28 edition of the USTFCCCA National Rankings, marking the fifth-straight week that the Falcons have been listed among the NCAA Top 30 in a field of nearly 200 teams with points.
AIR FORCE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Backed by NCAA leading marks in the discus (66.30m) and hammer (78.87m) from Texas Tanner, four Falcons are listed among the nation's top 25 in the latest NCAA rankings. Tanner is also listed at No. 16 in the shot put (19.24m), while Jayden Nats is ranked 11th in the 100-meter run (27:59.31), Jettason Rose is listed 17th for 200 meters (20.45a) and Zach Ayers is ranked No. 25 in the 5000-meter run (13:31.45). On the women's side, Morgan Glaser is listed sixth in the high jump with a 1.87-meter clearance.
WHAT'S ON DECK
The Falcons close out the regular season next Friday (May 8), when they host their annual Air Force Twilight Open and Senior Day Celebration at the Cadet Outdoor Track and Field Complex. Action is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m. (MT) and admission is free.
