Warfighters to Win: Tim Curry, class of 1999

Col. (Ret.) Tim Curry is a 1999 USAFA graduate took his talents as an All-America football player to becoming a highly-decorated fighter pilot and leader in the Air Force.
While at the Academy, Curry earned third-team All-American by The Sporting News in 1998. He holds the single-season (five) and career records (nine) for blocked kicks at the Academy. He was a two-time finalist for the Mosi Tatupu Special Teams Player of the Year Award and was selected to play in the Hula Bowl following the 1998 season. He was a key member of the 1998 football team that won the Western Athletic Conference championship and was recently inducted into the Air Force Athletics Hall of Fame.
Curry served for 25 years in the Air Force and had several command assignments ranging from the Squadron to the Wing level. He commanded the 319th Reconnaissance Wing, Grand Forks AFB, ND where he was responsible for 5,000 Airmen and their dependents as well as over $2B worth of national resources. He also served as the Commander of the 867th Attack Squadron, Creech AFB, NV. In both commands he led and flew combat missions in theater and from remote locations across the globe.
His senior level staff tours in the US Air Force include tours of duty as the Executive Assistant and Aide-de-Camp to the 21st Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, General David Goldfein.
His military decorations include the Legion of Merit Award, Meritorious Service Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Air medal, the Aerial Achievement Medal with 16 Oak Leaf Clusters, and a Distinguished Presidential Unit Citation. He is a command pilot with over 2300 flight hours in fighters and remotely piloted aircraft. He was an instructor and evaluator pilot in three different aircraft.
Curry is a consultant and public speaker specializing in the national security industry and is the CEO of Curry & Co. Solutions LLC. He supports large and small businesses, academia, state, federal, international and non-profit organizations. He also served on the Altru Hospital Board of Directors and coaches' high school and youth sports.
Along with his best friend and wife, Jenny, the couple has four children, Trinity, Tommy, Tegan and Titus.
