Opening league play in 2024-25, Air Force Women's Tennis gets an early chance to test their mettle against the reigning Mountain West champion and runners-up, respectively, as the Falcons head west to take on ranked San Diego State and UNLV on Friday and Sunday.
Tomorrow afternoon's league opener at SDSU is set for a 3 p.m. MT first serve at the Aztec Tennis Center; Sunday in Las Vegas begins at 11 a.m. MT at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

Air Force at a Glance:
Air Force seeks out its third and fourth-straight wins this weekend and its first victory over an ITA-ranked opponent since defeating the No. 49 Aztecs, 4-3, two years prior.
Combined, the Falcons are 36-27 (.571) in singles; Sophomore Nadia Kojonroj (8-2), Junior Arianna Van Houweling (6-3) and freshmen Shivaani Selvan (6-3) and Sofia Mavor (6-3) lead the pack, with each seeking a third-straight victory on Friday in San Diego.
Air Force is 20-13 (.606) in doubles play to open the spring season. As a unit, the Falcons are 8-5 this season and seeking its fourth-straight match in claiming the doubles point.
Scouting the Aztecs:
No. 41 San Diego State, at 7-4 on the season, host Air Force on the second leg of a back-to-back home weekend which includes No. 7 Duke at 3 p.m. today. SDSU currently rides a three-match win streak, downing Hawaii (4-2) and ranked neighbors No. 30 UCLA (4-3) and 43 UCSD (4-0).
Scouting UNLV:
UNLV currently stands at 8-3 with a Thursday home match against Richmond remaining before a Sunday tilt with the Falcons. The Rebels combine for 39-18 in dual singles and 21-6 (.778) in doubles action.
