
Slife Lands Ninth MW Gymnast of the Week, Beam Specialist Honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Sophomore Air Force gymnast Maggie Slife has been named both Mountain West Gymnast and Beam Specialist of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
In the Falcons' dual at Oregon State (March 15), Slife finished second in the all-around, scoring a conference-best 39.300 behind a pair of 9.875s on both floor and balance beam (also a league best), while also landing a 9.800 on vault and 9.750 on uneven bars.
This week's awards represent Slife's fourteenth career Gymnast of the Week honor and her ninth this season, while notching her second weekly beam specialist award and her first in 2025. The Falcons' leading all-arounder has earned nine of 10 top gymnast accolades awarded by the Mountain West this season. At 15 total weekly honors in 2025, the sophomore all-arounder stands as the most decorated gymnast in the Mountain West this season. As a team, Air Force earned its 18th and 19th weekly superlatives this season. Slife currently stands as the highest ranked gymnast in the Mountain West (38).
Air Force Women's Gymnastics is off to San Jose on Saturday, March 22 for the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Gymnastics Championship, set for 3 p.m. at SJSU's Provident Credit Union Event Center.
