
Air Force Fencing Places Five On USFCA West All-Region Team

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force fencing program placed five cadet-athletes on the 2025 United States Fencing Coaches Association All-Region team.
Senior George Gasparovich IV and juniors Jack Griffith and Omar Emara were named to the West All-Region team on the men's side.
Junior Ellie Kim and sophomore Christina Watrall were named ot the West All-Region team on the women's side.
Gasparovich the was the NCAA West Regional silver medalist and MPSF bronze medalist in men's epee. Emara was the NCAA West Regional bronze medalist and MPSF men's epee champion. Griffith was a bronze medalist at the MPSF Championships in men's foil.
Watrall was the NCAA West Regional and MPSF gold medalist in women's epee. Kim was the silver medalist at both the NCAA West Regional and MPSFs.
Emara, Kim and Watrall most recently competed at the NCAA Fencing Championships, helping Air Force place 19th overall.
