Air Force Falls To Boise State On Senior Night

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's basketball dropped a 80-57 contest to Boise State (22-8, 14-5 MW) in Mountain West play Tuesday night at Clune Arena. Senior guard Ethan Taylor led the Falcons in scoring on senior night with 16 points.

Air Force started off strong, taking an 8-2 lead early. But Boise had 10-0 and 11-0 first-half runs to pull away to a 38-21 halftime lead. The Falcons were held to 31 percent shooting in the first half.

Boise had another big run, 17-2, in the second half, to pull away.

The Falcons did up their scoring in the second-half, scoring 36 points and shooting 48 percent from the field. For the game, the Falcons shot 39 percent.

Pearson Carmichael and Andrew Meadow had 14 points to lead Boise State.

Taylor hit five three's to lead the Falcons. He also led the team with five assists and two steals. Freshman Will Cooper followed with seven points off the bench. Chase Beasley, Beau Becker and Byron Brown

Prior to tipoff, the Falcons honored its 2025 senior class of Chase Beasley, Beau Becker, Byron Brown, Jeffrey Mills and Ethan Taylor. All five members of the class have played together the previous five years, as they were all teammates at the USAFA Prep School prior to attending the Air Force Academy.

Air Force returns to action Saturday, March 8, at Utah State. Tip time is 2 pm MT and the game will be streamed on the MWN.
