
Air Force With Dominant 4-0 Win Over San Diego State On Senior Day

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis capped its 2025 spring home schedule in dominant fashion, rolling to a 4-0 win over San Diego State (8-13, 1-4 MW) in Mountain West action Sunday morning at the USAFA Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Falcons improved to 11-9, 2-2 MW on the season.
The Falcons were locked-in from the get-go, sweeping doubles with wins at No. 1 and 3. Arjun Kersten and Jack Brown defeated Alexander Mandma and Denis Meijorov 6-4 at No. 1. AJ Moore and Langdon Tingleaf then won at No. 3 over Eugenio Gonzalez/Mathieu Josserand 6-4 to clinch the point.
Air Force kept the momentum going into singles. Brown won at No. 6 in straight sets over Meijorov 6-1, 6-4 for the first singles point. Kersten then won at No. 2 over Mandma in straight sets 7-5, 6-1 to put the Falcons ahead 3-0.
Moore then won at No. 3 over Philipp Bosse 6-3, 6-3 to clinch the match.
Air Force wins its second conference match on the season, making it the fourth time the program has accomplished the feat in the Mountain West era and the for the first time since winning a program-record three MW matches in 2021-22. The Falcons were tough at home this season, going 8-2 in matches at the Academy.
Prior to the match, Air Force honored its senior class of 2025. Kyle Garner, Arjun Kersten and Luke Wolf were honored for their four-years with the program.

Air Force returns to action later next week with its two final matches on the road. The Falcons travel to Boise State on Thursday, April 17 and are at Utah State on Saturday, April 19.
