
Air Force Drops Contest at #42 Boise State

Air Force men's tennis dropped a 4-1 contest at #42 Boise State (19-4, 5-0 MW) in Mountain West action Thursday afternoon at the Appleton Tennis Center in Boise, Idaho.
The Falcons opened by taking the doubles point, but the Broncos responded by going 4-0 in singles.
In doubles, the Falcons won at No. 1 and 3. AJ Moore and Langdon Tingleaf won at No. 3 over John Chin and James Van Herzeele 6-2. Arjun Kersten and Jack Brown then won at No. 1 over Carson Baker and Jett Middleton 6-4.
In singles, Boise tied the match with a win at No. 4, then took the lead with a win at No. 2. The Broncos then won at No. 1 and clinched with a win at No. 5.

"It was a tough match against Boise State tonight. We had a great doubles performance, and competed well across all six singles spots. Jack Brown saved a few match points in a tense tiebreaker to keep us in the match. We're turning our attention toward Utah St this Saturday."
Air Force returns to action with its final regular season and MW contest this Saturday, April 19, at Utah State. The match is slated for an 11 am MT start.
