
Air Force Women's Swimming Places Three on CSC Academic All-District Team®

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - A trio of Air Force women's swimmers, Zoe Bresnahan, Alex Clark, and Maeve Linscott, were honored on the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team®, as released by CSC officials.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Honorees needed to be at least a sophomore in the classroom and athletically, carry a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and either compete in at least five competitions during the regular season or place among the top eight in an event at the conference championship.
Zoe Bresnahan is a junior majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and earned this distinction for the first time in her career. This season, the Minneapolis, Minn., native was named to the Academy's Athletic Director's List, the Dean's List, and the Superintendent's List. In the pool, Bresnahan recorded her highest finish, at third, in the 1000 freestyle (10:29.77) against Grand Canyon. At the Mountain West Championships, she marked a season-best 17:30.66 in the 1650 freestyle. Overall, the junior ranks sixth all-time in the 1000 freestyle (10:13.05) and the 1650 freestyle (16:51.91, along with seventh all-time in the 400 IM (4:23.29) for the Falcons.
Senior, Alex Clark, is a Civil Engineering student and earned this CSC honor for the first time in her career as a Falcon. For her military and academic efforts, Clark was also named to the Academy's Commandant's List and the Dean's List. During the regular season, the Alpharetta, Ga., native claimed first in the 200 IM three separate times, placed first in the 200 freestyle (1:54.14) against UNO and Liberty for a total of seven top five placements overall. Clark is the current Falcon record-holder in the 200 butterfly (1:59.85), while ranking third all-time in the 200 freestyle (1:48.90), fifth all-time in the 200 IM (2:02.25), and tenth all-time in the 100 butterfly (55.42).
Maeve Linscott rounds out the CSC Academic All-District® selections for Air Force and brings the home the honor for the first time in her career. The French major also earned Academy recognition on the Athletic Director's List, the Commandant's List, the Dean's List, and the Superintendent's List. During the regular season, Linscott notched a pair of first place finishes in the 200 breaststroke in a dual meet against Grand Canyon (2:18.52) and a quad meet against Colorado State, Seattle U, and New Mexico (2:22.08). At the Mountain West Championships, the Mission Hills, Kan., native recorded a personal best time, 2:14.68, in the 200 breaststroke for ninth place, also placing her at fourth all-time for the Academy. Linscott also ranks fifth all-time for the Falcons in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.55).
