
Women’s Tennis Adds Four from Class of 2029

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – On the heels of an exciting year two for Air Force Women's Tennis under head coach Taylor Hollander, the Falcons look toward 2025-26 touting one of the program's strongest ever incoming freshman classes.
Collectively, the Falcons' four newcomers ranked 10th on Tennis Recruiting Network's 2025 Top Mid-Major Women's Classes, earning the Falcons their highest-ever ranking:
Alba Martinez | Weston, Fla. | Broward Virtual School
Martinez is a five-time state champion and two-time individual doubles champion from Florida. She arrives at Air Force as the 42nd-ranked recruit in the country and ninth in the state of Florida. Martinez has an 8-5 record on tennisrecruiting.net which includes a 2-0 clip against five-star competitors.

Chaeyule Kang | San Diego, Calif. | Canyon Crest Academy
Originally from Seoul, South Korea and raised in San Diego, Kang is a five-star recruit currently ranked 31st nationally and seventh in California. As a national recruit, Kang amassed an 11-11 overall record, including two wins against blue-chip competitors and a 5-4 record against fellow five stars.
"Chaeyule's discipline, competitive drive, and unwavering commitment to improvement set her apart. We believe she has the tools to thrive in the Mountain West and elevate those around her. Chaeyule's presence will no doubt strengthen both our lineup and the culture we're building within the program."
Kelsey Ko | Temecula, Calif. | ICL Academy
Kelsey Ko arrives at the Academy as a four-year student of the ICL Academy, Universal Tennis' No. 1 ranked school for junior tennis players. Ko, a four-star recruit, is daughter to Kwang Ko, who previously served in the U.S. Army.
"We're proud to add Kelsey Ko to the Air Force Women's Tennis program. Her toughness, heart, and refusal to settle for anything less than her best stood out throughout the recruiting process. Kelsey brings a competitive edge and leadership qualities that will elevate our team culture and performance. She's exactly the kind of player who helps push a program forward."
Jariahlyn Rhoades | Mililani, Hawaii | Punahou School
A four-year member of the tennis program at Punahou in Mililani, Hawaii, Rhoades was part of a team that captured the Hawaii state team championship all four years, while adding a state doubles title in her junior season. Tennis Recruiting lists Rhoades as the No. 1 ranked recruit from the Hawaiian Islands and neighboring territories. As a senior, Rhoades served as team captain for Punahou and was named 2025 Most Influential Player and 2025 Female Athlete of the Year.
