Guy Blessing earns CSC At-Large Academic All-America honor

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Guy Blessing, a 2025 graduate, was named to the 2025 At-Large Academic All-America third team, selected by College Sports Communicators. The team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
Blessing carried a 3.80 GPA as an astronautical engineering major. The CSC Academic All-America honor is the first of his career. He is the ninth Falcon hockey player to earn the honor. The Falcon hockey team has had a CSC Academic All-American each of the last three seasons. Blessing was a four-time member of the Atlantic Hockey America all-academic team. A goalie from Chandler, Ariz., he started 39 of the 40 games last season and led the nation in minutes played. He had a 2.48 GAA and a .907 saves percentage last season. He became the sixth goalie in Air Force's conference era to record more than 2,000 career saves and is the fifth goalie in school history to play 100 or more career games.
To be considered for CSC All-Academic, the student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. The athletes must have earned CSC Academic All-District honors and also meet a competition/games played threshold for eligibility, specific to each sport.
