U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - Air Force women's swimming and diving is looking forward to the coming season and unveiled the 2025-26 competition schedule on Tuesday.
"We are swimming some of the top mid-major teams in the country throughout this season," commented head swimming coach Colleen Murphy. "That includes some SEC and Big 12 schools that will challenge our team to race outside their comfort zone, before we compete at one of the top conference meets in the country, the Mountain West Conference Championships."
The Falcons will open the preseason with the annual Blue/Silver intrasquad meet on Friday Sept. 26 and the two-day Front Range Invite in Denver, Colo., from Oct. 3-4. Before the dual meets begin, the Falcons will fly west on Oct. 10-11 to make an appearance at the Fresno State Invitational.
On the weekend of October 17-18, Air Force jumps into dual action against Mountain West opponent, Wyoming, along with LSU and Denver at the Cadet Natatorium, followed by a Halloween dual against MW newcomer, Grand Canyon (Oct. 31-Nov. 1).
Following a break in action, AF will head back to the Phil Hansel Invitational in Houston, Tx., from Nov. 19-21. The Falcons' sole appearance in December will be at CSCAA Open Water Nationals in Sarasota Fla., on Friday Dec. 13.
To open 2026, Air Force will return to the pool, hosting Northern Colorado (Jan. 9) and conference challengers Colorado State and New Mexico (Jan. 10). From there, the Falcons compete in a pair of away meets at Seattle U (Jan. 16) and face BYU and Colorado Mesa (Jan. 23-24) in Provo, Utah.
January closes with the Air Force Sprint Eliminator meet hosted at USAFA on the 31st, and the Falcons will pick up speed again at the Denver First Chance Invite (Feb. 6-7), to close out regular season swimming.
The yearly Air Force Diving Invitational is slated for Jan. 29-31 at Cadet Natatorium.
The Mountain West Conference Championships will take place from Feb. 18-21 in Houston, Tx.
The remainder of postseason competition consists of NCAA Division I Zone E Diving Qualifiers (Mar. 7), the CSCAA National Invitational (Mar. 12-14), and the NCAA Championships (Mar. 18-21).
