Falcons Play Blue-Silver Scrimmage

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis had its annual Blue-Silver Scrimmage on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Blue team won 4-2 over the Silver.
In doubles, the duo of Alec Fritzinger and Caden Lee defeated Phillip Deaton and Matthew Staton 6-4. The doubles group of Jack Brown and Tyler Leaird defeated AJ Moore and Langdon Tingleaf 6-4.
In singles play, Moore defeated Leaird 6-7, 6-3, 10-5. Fritzinger defeated Staton 7-5, 7-6 (5). Tingleaf defeated Brown 6-4, 6-2 and Deaton defeated Lee 6-1, 6-3.
"Its always good to get back to work at the beginning of the season," head coach Evan Urbina said. "It's an exciting time of year to put in quality work and get ready for the regional competition and fall tournaments. We're proud of the team, and looking forward to our first trip in two weeks."
Air Force begins its fall slate Sept. 19-21 at the Nevada Hidden Duals in Reno, Nevada.
