First round results

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Senior Ted Davenport and junior Carson Baker led the Air Force golf team in the first round of the season-opening Folds of Honor Collegiate, Monday, Sept. 8, at the American Dunes Golf Course in Grand Haven, Mich.

Davenport and Baker each shot a 77 (+6) in the opening round. Davenport made four birdies on the day, including three on the front side. Baker made 13 pars with five bogeys. Senior Eric Liveringhouse shot 79, senior Brooks Morrell shot 80 and junior Eli Huntington shot 81.

Air Force is tied for 14^th with Army after shooting a 313 (+29). Navy is 13^th at 300 (+16). Alabama, ranked 18^th in the nation and the 2024 Folds of Honor champion, is tied for the team lead with Notre Dame (receiving votes) at 285 (+1).

The second round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate is Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the American Dunes Golf Course starting at 7:30 am ET. The first Falcon is on the course at 7:57 am ET.
