Lily Miller leads Falcons at Georgia Southern

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Freshman Lily Miller shot a career-best 1178 to lead the Air Force rifle team in a dual meet at Georgia Southern, Saturday, Jan. 17, in Statesboro, Ga. Second-ranked Georgia Southern won the meet, 4717-4703.
Air Force's 4703 is the third best score of the season while the smallbore score of 2336 is a season-high.
Miller placed third overall in aggregate score. Senior Victoria Leppert was fourth (1174) and freshman Prisha Thomas was fifth (1172).
Leppert placed third in smallbore (588 – 36 centers), while Miller and Thomas each shot career-bests of 588 as well. Bethany Butler was seventh at 579.
Sophomore Lily Wytko was second in air rifle at 596 while Megan Torrence was sixth at 594.
Air Force will compete against Georgia Southern and The Citadel on Sunday, Jan. 18, at 8 am ET in Statesboro, Ga.
