Falcons Boast Pair of Podium Finishers on Day Two of Dive Invitational

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - Air Force diving saw two Falcons claim podium finishes on the 3-meter and logged six total top twelve placements on the second day of the Air Force Diving Invitational at Cadet Natatorium.
Lexi Gregory picked up a silver finish on the 3-meter springboard, scoring a 296.75, a season high and an NCAA Zone qualifier. Behind her in third was Chloe Perkins with a score of 296.35, also a season-high and Zone qualifying score. Cayla Jaffe recorded a 273.45 score for sixth place, while Lulu Semakula took ninth at 258.10.
On the 1-meter springboard, Brady Nichol led on the men's side after placing sixth with a finals score of 275.40. Freshman, Lucas Gerten, recorded a score of 254.65 for 11th place.
The final day of the invitational will begin at 9 a.m. MT on the platform. The swimmers will compete against Denver in the Colorado Sprint Championships and host a senior day recognition ceremony. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m. MT with the ceremony taking place after the first relay event.
