A court-by-court stream of Friday's match against the Lobos will be provided via Playsight. Live scoring will be available through StatBroadcast. Links to both can be found on the women's tennis schedule page at goairforcefalcons.com.
Tournament Outlook:
Air Force, sitting at 7-3 in Mountain West play, is currently in fourth place in league standings. A win over UNM on Friday would secure a fourth place seeding in the tournament and thus the final first-round bye, awarded to the top four finishing teams. The 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championship is set for Apr. 22-25 in Las Vegas. An Air Force loss to the Lobos and a Grand Canyon win over No. 53 San Diego State on Friday would lock Air Force into fifth and a first-round match with a TBD five seed.
Air Force at a Glance:
Air Force (10-12, 7-3 MW), winners of three of their last four matches, combine for a 78-88 (.470) record in singles for the year and 40-59 (.404) in dual singles play. Senior Arianna Van Houweling sits at 20-6 while holding an 11-3 dual mark and is currently riding a four-match win streak. Freshman Yule Kang follows up at 15-14 on the season and sports an 8-10 record this spring.
Falcon doubles currently combine for a 105-76 (.580) record for 2025-26 and are 63-46 (.578) in duals. The current Air Force lineup is 27-13 with Van Houweling/Shivaani Selvan (11-5, three consecutive wins) and Jariahlyn Rhoades/Maya Michalski (10-1, six straight wins) leading the way. Air Force has claimed 12 of the last 13 contested doubles points, is 8-1 against Mountain West teams in a best-of-three sets format and looks to score a fifth-consecutive on Friday against New Mexico.
UNM (12-11, 3-7 MW), who has already clinched the No. 9 seed as a result of a tiebreaker with Wyoming, looks to secure a winning season with a victory over the Falcons on Friday.
