
Sixteen Falcons named to AHA all-academic team

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Sixteen Air Force hockey players were named to the 2025-26 Atlantic Hockey America all-academic team, as released by the league office today. The sixteen selections tie the most since the school record 19 in 2020-21 and marks the sixth straight season with at least 14 selections.
To qualify for the AHA all-academic team, an individual must post a 3.0 GPA or better for both semesters of the 2024-25 academic year.
Representing Air Force on the Atlantic Hockey all-academic team are: graduated seniors Mason McCormick (management) and Holt Oliphant (military and strategic studies); rising seniors Carter Clafton (management), Owen Dubois (civil engineering), Brendan Gibbons (operations research), Nick Remissong (management), Will Staring (management) and Dominik Wasik (civil engineering); rising juniors Will Dawson (undeclared), Toby Hopp (operations research) and Sam Stitz (management); and rising sophomores Calvin Beard (undeclared), Nate Farrell (undeclared), Oliver Genest (management), Cade Moxham (undeclared) and Zane Spaniol (undeclared).
Oliphant was named to the team for the fourth time. McCormick, Dubois , Gibbons, Staring and Wasik made the team for the third time. Dawson, Hopp, Remissong and Stitz made the team for the second time while Beard, Clafton, Farrell, Genest, Moxham and Spaniol were honored for the first time in their careers.
