USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – A program-record 10 Air Force cadet-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators' Division I Academic All-District Track & Field and Cross Country Team, the CSC announced this morning (June 26). The total eclipsed the previous record of eight from last year.
Recent 2026 graduates India Jones and Max Sannes captured CSC Academic All-District honors for the third-straight year, while classmate Jevonte Eaves repeated his recognition from 2025 and fellow 2026 grad Zach Ayers claimed academic all-district distinction for the first time. Six Falcons who recently completed their junior year were also honored by the College Sports Communicators.
With today's recognition, Jones and Sannes join Rebecca Esselstein (2013-15) as the only Falcons in program history to be named to the Academic All-District Team in every year of eligibility.
Three rising seniors – Anna Harden, Karli Neff, Dominykas Remeikis – claimed academic all-district honors for the second-straight year, while classmates Ansley Bishop, Patrick Lawson, and Tanner Woodring captured their first such honor.
The CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Team honors student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. To be considered academic all-district, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher, and finish within the top-50 of the regional cross country championships or rank within the region's top 50 in at least one event during either the indoor or outdoor track and field season.
With the addition of these 10 Academic All-District honorees, the Falcons' track and field program has seen 46 athletes combine for 64 academic all-district honors from CSC (formerly CoSIDA) since the program began in 2003 – and has had at least one Academic All-District selection in 20 of the last 21 years.
