COLLEGE STATION, Tx., - Air Force women's soccer (3-0-0) will travel south to take on the Texas A&M (2-2-0) on Thursday August 27 at 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT at Ellis Field.

Air Force women's soccer (3-0-0) secured its first shutout of the season with a 4-0 victory over service academy rival Navy (1-2-0) Thursday night at Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. Sydney Nelms made six saves to earn the clean sheet, while the Falcons recorded eight shots on goal.
Annika Jost led Air Force with a goal and an assist, while Kendall Rippley, Jordan Dillingham and Ellie McCarron each found the net. Ashley Yenawine and Maddy Walsh added assists.
Yenawine set up Jost in the 25th minute to open the scoring before Rippley doubled the lead early in the second half. Dillingham extended the advantage to 3-0 six minutes later off a Jost corner, and McCarron capped the scoring in the 89th minute.
"It wasn't our best performance, but we accomplished the mission," said head coach Laura Busby. "Tonight they showed an unbreakable belief in their ability and in each other."
DILLINGHAM DELIVERS
C2C Jordan Dillingham has started the 2026 season strong. The center back has totaled 249 minutes of play, recording a pair of goals and three shots on the season.
Most recently, Dillingham was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in Air Force's 4-0 shutout victory over Navy. She played all 90 minutes, anchoring the Falcons' defense and helping hold Navy scoreless. Dillingham also made an impact offensively, finding the back of the net in the 57th minute off a corner kick for her second goal of the season. Her goal extended Air Force's lead and helped secure the shutout victory.

Sophomore Sydney Nelms has started two matches against Creighton and Navy, totaling 180 minutes on the season. She recorded her first career shutout in Air Force's 4-0 win over Navy, making six saves to earn her second win of the season. Against Creighton, Nelms made eight saves while allowing just one goal, finishing with an .889 save percentage.
ATTACK MODE
Air Force entered the season ready to score some goals, already recording 42 shots in three matches and 22 on goal, for 11 goals. Addie Doyle leads with eight shots and is followed by seven attempts from Annika Jost, six from Maddy Walsh, and four by Clara Teigland.
Ellie McCarron, Jordan Dillingham, Walsh, and Jost have already scored two goals apiece.
