2023-24 (Junior): Named the AHA Best Defensive Forward, the third Falcon to ever win the award … Just the fourth forward in school history to win the team’s Defensive Player of the Year Award … Was the co-recipient of the Larry Cronk Award as the team’s most inspirational player … Played in all 38 games, mostly as the right winger on the third line, and was tied for second on the team with 10 goals … Sixth on the team with 19 points … Led the nation with four short-handed goals, the most by a Falcon since 2015-16 … Ranked third in the nation in blocked shots by a forward with 46 … His +6 was second on the team … Won 53.6 percent of his faceoffs, most coming on special teams … Scored a short-handed goal in overtime to beat Alaska-Anchorage, Oct. 21 … Also scored SHG against Army, AIC and Robert Morris … Tied his career-best with two goals against Lindenwood, Oct. 7 … Both goals came in the third period, including an ENG to seal the win … Career-best three points, tied his career high with two goals, in the win over Robert Morris, Feb. 23 … Seven of his nine assists on the season were primary assists … Named to the academic all-Atlantic Hockey team.
2022-23 (Sophomore): Played in 34 games and has five goals and seven assists … Was a +2 on the season … Blocked 27 shots, third most on the team by a forward … First goal of the season came at Lindenwood … Scored a short-handed goal against Holy Cross … Scored a goal in the win at Sacred Heart, Feb. 10 … Had a goal in the season finale at RIT … Earned the Larry Cronk Award as the team’s most inspirational player.
2021-22 (Freshman): Played in all 36 games and had three goals and five assists for eight points … Won 144 faceoffs on the season, fourth on the team … Blocked 31 shots on the season, the most among the Falcon forwards … First career point was a goal at Niagara, Nov. 6 … Two points in his first 14 games and then six points in his last 22 games … Late in the season, had a point in three straight games and five of six … Scored the game-winner at Bentley, the first of his career … Against Army in the AHA Quarterfinals, tied the game with an unassisted goal with 2:36 left in the third to force overtime … AF won in overtime to advance to the AHA Final Four.

Personal: Member of cadet squadron 16 … Major is civil engineering … Son of Julie and Rob Schwartz … Has one sister … Long-term goal is to be a pilot or civil engineering officer… Is the first sergeant in his squadron … On the Superintendent’s List (excellence in academics, military and physical fitness) twice, the Commandant’s List twice and the Dean’s List … Is the character and honor officer in his squadron … In the summer of 2024, was the Field Engineering Readiness Laboratory (FERL) Flight Commander, in charge of 16 engineering majors from the Air Force Academy and ROTC across the country … In that role, his team built two houses that will be donated, as well as paved a road in Jack’s Valley … Also served, as the Basic Training Assistant Flight Commander, teaching newly appointed cadets how to transition from civilian life to a military life … In the summer of 2023, spent three weeks at Nellis AFB, Nev., on Operation Air Force and rode in an F-16 and HH-60 and worked with the Red Horse unit using heavy machinery … Also took part in the civil engineering summer program (FERL) at the Academy, learning about designing and testing concrete and assisting on the build of two houses that were donated to families in need … Hobbies are golf, mountain biking and fishing.
