JUNIOR YEAR | 2020-21: Competed in the javelin throw during seven meets…recorded a personal-best distance of 121’9” in collegiate debut at the Aztec Invitational…earned top-five finishes at the Air Force Twilight Open (third, 118’9”), Jack Christiansen Invitational (third, 115’9”) and Baylor Invitational (fifth, 117’11”).
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2019-20 – FRESHMAN YEAR | 2018-19: Did not compete for the track and field team...spent freshman and sophomore years as a member of the Air Force tennis team...earned all-conference doubles honors with TJ Fumagalli as a freshman...ranked second on the team in overall wins that year, holding a 61-16 record (29-9 in singles, 32-7 in doubles)...teamed with Fumagalli for Air Force’s first ITA Mountain Region Doubles title and first-ever trip to the ITA Fall Championships...earned the Rookie of the Year award across all Academy sports during the 2018-19 season.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kristin Taylor Kerrigan...nickname is “KK”...daughter of Nick and Ivi Kerrigan...father served in the Army for two years...mother played tennis for Virginia Commonwealth University and was the #1 player in Estonia before coming to the United States...has one older brother Erik...majoring in management...future plans include working in the acquisitions field…serving as the Wing Athletics Officer in the Spring of 2022...half Estonian...hobbies include hiking, swimming, and running...favorites include Cheetos (food), rap and country (music), dinosaurs and dogs (animals) and the Bourne Trilogy (movies)...completed a six-week Cadet Summer Research Program (CSRP) at USMEPCOM in Chicago over the summer, conducting statistical data analysis on MEPS disqualification rate to identify factors bearing on variation in medical decisions and came up with improvements to the current standardization policies…received the “DFM Best Overall Project, First Class Cadet” award for her project and has been nominated to compete in the Social Sciences Division for the Moore Award…also spent three weeks working the Interpersonal Leadership Training (ILT) program...member of Cadet Squadron 03.
