JUNIOR YEAR | 2022-23: Competed in the 1500-meter run during four meets…improved her No. 23 standing in that event after clocking a career-best 4:33.17 during the preliminary heat of the Mountain West Outdoor Championships…won that event at the Air Force Twilight Open (4:43.55a)…did not compete during the indoor season…MW Scholar-Athlete.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2021-22: Debuted at No. 23 on the program’s all-time standings after clocking a career-best 1500-meter time of 4:35.38 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships…won that event after clocking an altitude-converted time of 4:35.53 at the Air Force Twilight Meet…competed in the mile run during three indoor meets…clocked a career-best time of 5:06.56 (adjusted for altitude) at the MW Indoor Championships…academic all-conference selection…MW Scholar-Athlete.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2020-21: Led off the 4x1600-meter relay that clocked the fifth-fastest time in program history (20:16.65) at the Drake Relays…added a personal-best 5000-meter time of 17:05.77 at that meet…that was the second-fastest time on the team in 2021…also accounted for the Falcons’ second-fastest mark at 1500 meters after clocking career-best 4:35.61 (adjusted for altitude) at the Colorado Invitational…competed in the mile during five indoor meets…posted a collegiate-best time of 5:12.07a at the Air Force Collegiate Open…took first in the 3000-meter run at that meet…clocked 10:34.68a in only appearance of the season at that distance…academic all-conference selection…MW Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Friends’ Central School...member of the 4x800-meter relay that clocked the third-fastest high school time in the nation as a senior...won the Friends School League individual cross country title in 2018...also finished second at the PAISAA Cross Country Championships that year...earned a top-50 finish (41st) in the Northeast Region of Nike Cross Nationals as a senior...competed on teams that won the Pennsylvania cross country title in 2019 and the indoor track and field title in 2020...also ran on three league championship cross country teams (2017, 2018, 2019) and two league championship outdoor track and field teams (2018, 2019)...national qualifier for DECA...served as vice president of Student Council.

PERSONAL: Full name is Rebecca Anne Wusinich…nickname is “Rebs”…daughter of Mark and Meg Wusinich...has three sisters (one older, two younger)...majoring in legal studies…future plans include becoming a contracting officer…serving as First Sergeant for squadron…named to the Superintendent’s List for excellence in military, academic and athletic performance every semester…member of the A-Team in the fall of 2022...went to a Quaker high school...hobbies include baking and spending time with family…completed a four-week Cadet Summer Research Program (CSRP) with SAF/GCI at the Pentagon over the summer…also served on A-Staff during Basic Cadet Training...member of Cadet Squadron 34.
