- Earned four weekly player of the week honors:
(Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week, Mountain West POW, Air Force Athletics Athlete of the Week and College Sports Madness MW POW) on April 21 and 22 by batting .667 (10-for-15) with seven runs scored in wins over Adams State and UNLV.
- Raised batting average 72 points (from .197 to .269) over last 19 games with 10 multi-hit games over that span.
- Had a career-high four hits with three runs, two doubles and three runs in a win over UNLV.
- Homered against Northern Colorado.

PERSONAL:Has a younger sister...nickname is Spence...favorite TV shows are Baseball Tonight and Pawn Stars...favorite movie is Top Gun...person in history he'd like to meet is Jim Abbott...something most people don't know about him is that he likes to play Hockey...credits his father as having the biggest influence on his sports career...most noteworthy thing about his hometown is that the formula for Coca-Cola was invented there...enjoys golf, swimming and hanging out with friends when away from baseball...son of Kevin and Judy Draws.
Why I came to the Academy: "I came to the Academy to better myself as a person and to develop leadership skills and to protect and serve our great country."
