FRESHMAN YEAR | 2011-12: Recorded the ninth-best heptathlon total in Academy history...tallied career-best 4,644 points at the Air Force Indoor Combined Events Meet... posted career-best marks in the 60-meter dash (7.43), 1000-meter run (2:57.34), pole vault (10[apos]11¾') and shot put (36[apos]9¾') at that meet...recorded a personal-best clearance of 6[apos]6' in the high jump to finish third at the Robert Shine Invitational...finished fourth in the long jump at that meet with a career-best 21[apos]2¼'...clocked a career-best time of 8.64 in the 60-meter hurdles twice (Air Force Blue-Silver Open, Air Force All-Comers Meet)...competed in the high jump at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...scored for the Falcons in the decathlon and high jump during the MW Outdoor Championships...tallied a career-best 6,408 points to place seventh in the decathlon at the conference meet...posted a career-best clearance of 6[apos]7½' in the high jump during decathlon competition at that meet...that height was ranked fourth on the team...also tallied personal-best marks in the 400-meter dash (49.64), 1500-meter run (4:32.35, adjusted for altitude), pole vault (12[apos]3½'), discus throw (91[apos]5') and javelin throw (115[apos]5') at the conference meet...finished second in the 1500-meter event at the MW Championships...claimed career-best marks in the 100-meter dash (11.30), long jump (21[apos]2') and shot put (34[apos]3½') at the Air Force Outdoor Combined Events Meet...finished second in the decathlon at that meet with 6,233 points...was the top scorer in the 400-meter dash and 1500-meter run...posted a career-best 110-meter hurdles time of 14.98 at the Front Range Classic...cleared 6[apos]4¾' to score for the Falcons in the high jump at the MW Outdoor Championships...academic all-conference selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hudsonville High School...four-time all-state honoree...claimed all-state honors in the high jump in 2010...earned the same honor in the 300-meter hurdles as a senior...also ran legs of the 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams that claimed all-state honors...three-time all-area selection...three-time all-conference honoree...holds the school record in the 300-meter hurdles (38.4)...also a member of the 4x400-meter and 4x200-meter relay teams that holds the HHS record...served as secretary of the National Honor Society...member of the Student Council...graduated with a 3.93 GPA.
