2005: First season throwing the javelin...tossed a season-long distance of 136[apos]0' to place second in the javelin at the Risdon Westen-Air Force Twilight Invitational...that throw is the fifth-best distance in Academy history...won the javelin at the Colorado College Invitational with a throw of 125[apos]6'
2004: Spent freshman season as a goalkeeper for the Academy[apos]s varsity soccer team
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year member of the varsity soccer team...also a member of the varsity softball team...president of the Student Body...California Seal bearer (honors distinction)...graduated with a cumulative GPA of 4.02...served as a youth camp counselor for the Developed Mentally Disabled...also served as a river rafting, backpacking and rock climbing guide
