Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). HIGH SCHOOL: Archbishop Alter High School...three-year letterwinner in volleyball...coached by Tina Jasinowski...member of the state championship team in 2006...also a member of the team that finished second at the state championships in 2008...earned first-team all-Ohio honors as a senior...also received second-team all-state honors in 2007...two-time District 14 Player of the Year honoree (2007, 2008)...graduated with honors.

CLUB TEAM: Competed at the club level for Dayton Juniors...coached by Howard Garcia and Pete Wung...member of the squad that competed at Nationals during 2006 and 2007.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tom and Rhonda Schmitt...nickname is 'A'...has two younger brothers, Henry and Leo...majoring in foreign area studies...future plans include becoming a pilot (preferably heavies), see the world and make a difference as an officer...attended the Academy[apos]s Prep School...member of Alpha Squadron...named MVP of the New Mexico Military Institute Tournament...loves sushi and snowboarding...has three kidneys...favorite videos games are Halo and Super Mario Brothers (the original)...grandfather was a Marine...member of Cadet Squadron 21.
