SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2017-18: Ran on a pair of record-setting relays during the indoor season...ran the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay that posted a program-best time of 3:44.47 at the Mountain West Championships...that time deleted nearly five seconds off of a program standard that had stood since 1983...also ran the 800-meter leg of the distance medley relay that posted a program-best time of 11:23.84 (adjusted for altitude) at that meet...earned all-conference honors in both relays after a pair of third-place finishes...anchored the 4x400-meter relay that first debuted on the all-time standings after clocking the second-fastest time in program history (3:49.54) at the Texas Tech Shootout...also ran on the 4x400-meter relay that impacted the program’s outdoor standings by posting the fifth-fastest time in Academy history (3:47.03) at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays...competed in the 400-meter dash during six indoor meets...clocked a season-best time of 56.35 to finish ninth at the Texas Tech Shootout...also ran that distance during two outdoor meets, highlighted by a 56.85 performance at the Beach Invitational...ran in three 800-meter events...notched a personal-best time of 2:14.34 (adjusted for altitude) to win the NoCo Challenge...also claimed a first-place finish at the Jerry Quiller Classic (2:14.59a)...opened the season with a victory in the 500-meter dash at the Air Force Holiday Open (1:12.41).
