Boys Lacrosse Camp
Learn. Develop. Compete.
Air Force Boys Lacrosse Camp is a teaching and learning camp designed to help young players develop the skills needed to become more complete lacrosse athletes.
Campers are introduced to new skills, given opportunities to practice those skills and then challenged to apply them in game-like situations.
Players are grouped by age to create an environment where instruction, repetitions and competition are appropriate for each camper.
Days of Lacrosse
Two full days of instruction, skill development and competition provide younger players with an opportunity to experience Air Force Lacrosse at the Academy.
Complete Lacrosse Development
Camp instruction emphasizes fundamentals, position skills and the ability to apply those skills in competitive situations.
Skill Development
Campers work on throwing, catching, cradling, ground balls, shooting, footwork and other position-specific fundamentals.
New skills are introduced and demonstrated before campers receive repetitions and opportunities to apply them in drills.
Game Situations
Skills are reinforced through competitive drills and game-like situations designed to improve decision-making and lacrosse IQ.
Campers train and compete with athletes of similar ages while learning how individual skills connect within the team game.
