Fees &
Refunds
Please review the Air Force Sports Camps refund policy before completing registration. Camp registration secures a limited space and commits resources to support each camper's experience.
AF Sports Camps Has a No-Refund Policy
Exceptions may be considered for a documented medical emergency or family hardship. Approved refunds are subject to administrative fees and the policies outlined below.
When a Refund May Be Considered
Refund requests are limited to specific circumstances and are reviewed according to Air Force Sports Camps policy.
Medical Emergency
A refund exception may be granted when a medical emergency prevents a camper from attending Air Force Sports Camps.
If the medical emergency occurs before the start of camp, a written refund request must be accompanied by documentation from the camper's doctor.
All approved refunds remain subject to the applicable administrative fee.
Family Hardship
Air Force Sports Camps may consider refund requests involving a significant family hardship.
Requests should be submitted in writing and should clearly explain the circumstances requiring cancellation.
Approval is not automatic and remains subject to Sports Camps review and applicable administrative fees.
Timing Matters
All approved refunds are reduced by an administrative fee based on when the request is processed.
Prior to MAY 21
Approved refunds processed prior to this date will incur a $50 administrative fee.
After may 21
Approved refunds processed after this date will incur a $150 administrative fee.
How to Submit a Request
Follow these steps if circumstances require you to request an exception to the AF Sports Camps no-refund policy.
Submit Your Request
Send a written request by email explaining why the camper is unable to attend or complete camp.
Provide Documentation
Medical refund requests made prior to camp must include supporting documentation from the camper's doctor.
Sports Camps Review
Air Force Sports Camps will review the request and determine whether it qualifies for an exception under the refund policy.
If a Camper Cannot Finish Camp
Refund eligibility differs depending on whether an injured camper remains at camp or must leave because of the injury. There is no refund for a camper that is removed for disciplinary reasons.
Camper Remains at Camp
A camper who is injured during camp and chooses to remain for the duration of the camp will not receive a refund.
Unable to Continue
If a medical injury prevents a camper from completing the remainder of camp, a prorated refund may be considered.
Director Discretion
Any prorated refund following an injury or medical incident during camp is provided at the discretion of the AF Sports Camps Director.
