Thank you for considering the AF Swim Camps for your swimmer this summer. Our camp offers thorough analysis of stroke technique to include video analysis of the world's best swimmers along with video of each individual camper. The session will offer challenging training programs and plenty of stroke analysis. Our camp is best suited for experienced swimmers with a good year-round training base.
The Cadet Natatorium, which recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation, features all new bulkheads, starting blocks, scoreboards, and lighting. The Natatorium facilities offer video analysis, reaction time pads on the blocks, an adjacent state of the art dry land training room and more. In addition to its high altitude location at 7200 feet, this is a world class facility matched by only a few in the country.
Camp runs from 8:30am until 4:00pm with the exception of Friday which is a half day, 8:30am-12:00pm. Friday's session ends with a pentathlon competition starting at approximately 9:00am. The campers will be free to leave immediately following the completion of the meet.
AT THE POOL EQUIPMENT
Campers should bring the following for swimming gear:
- Suits (recommend 2-3)
- Goggles
- Caps
- Fins (short)
- Kickboard
- Pull gear
- Plenty of towels (recommend at least 2)
NOTE: AF Sports Camps/Swimming Camp is not responsible for any items lost or stolen during your camper's stay. All campers are responsible for their own personal items and belongings. Swimmers will also participate in dry land training so each camper should also bring clothing conducive to dry land training sessions.
Thank you again for considering our camp. We are confident it will be a rewarding and fun experience for your young swimmer and will contribute to their future success in swimming.
Go Falcons!
